It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no millionaire’s son

Creedence Clearwater Revival (or simply Revival) was an American folk blues band with a short but very successful career.

Leaded by the great guitarist and singer John Fogerty they left as a heritage historic songs such as Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Hey Tonight and three magnificent covers on Suzie Q, I put a spell on you and I heard it through the grapevine.

Fortunate Son (released in 1969) hit the no 3 of the American charts and soon became an anti-war movement hymn during the Vietnam war.

The song is considered by the Rolling Stone magazine as one of the top 100 songs ever written and was part of the soundtrack of well known films such as Forest Gump and Die Hard.

About 40 years later John Fogerty co-sang Fortunate Son with the one and only Bruce Springsteen offering us an unforgettable musical moment.
